ONE FORMULA, ONE ANSWER
Miner cumulative fatigue damage calculator
Sum fatigue-damage fractions from an editable list of applied and allowable cycle counts. Choose input units and calculate one value within the stated conditions.
Inputs
Calculations run in this browser. Scientific notation such as 1.2e-3 is supported. Do not group thousands.
Result
Linear cumulative fatigue damage D
Enter values and select Calculate.
D = Σ nᵢ / Nᵢ
Assumptions
Required: user-supplied fatigue lives Nᵢ appropriate to the material, load level, mean stress, and environment. Linear summation excludes load-sequence and interaction effects. D = 1 is the model’s nominal threshold and does not certify actual failure time or safety. The list supports 1 to 100 load blocks; D > 1 remains visible.
Displayed values are floating-point approximations. Design safety factors and unprovided error contributions are not calculated.
