FORMULA

m = η I t M/(zF)

Assumptions

Required: constant current, constant current efficiency and one deposition reaction with a specified electron count. z is the positive integer electron count per deposited formula unit in the balanced electrode reaction. Side reactions are represented by η. Excluded: explicit diffusion limits, redissolution, detachment and changing mass transfer. Plating thickness additionally requires density and actual area.

Displayed values are floating-point approximations. Design safety factors and unprovided error contributions are not calculated.
