Grateful to spend time in Alabama today — and to walk through Montgomery, a city that has shaped the American story like few others. These streets carry the legacy of generations who stood up to injustice, marched for freedom, and changed the course of our country. Today, as forces once again try to rig the rules and silence Americans, we owe it to them to defend what they fought so hard to secure. From California to Alabama, people want the same things: a fair shot, an affordable life, and a government that works for them. Now it’s on all of us to show up, organize, and vote.
